How it works
Section titled “How it works”Upstream exposes a Model Context Protocol server at https://api.upstream.do/mcp. Your AI assistant connects to it using a Personal Access Token, and the 44 available tools let it read and act on your inbox on your behalf.
The server uses Streamable HTTP transport, so any MCP client that supports it can connect directly. Clients that only support stdio (like Claude Desktop) can use the mcp-remote bridge.
